The rules that apply when you use MandarinOS, enrol in a course or buy a lesson pack.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website at www.mandarinos.sg/en/ (the "Site") and all courses, video lessons, live classes, private lessons, downloadable materials and other services made available through it (together, the "Services").
The Services are operated by MANDARINOS PTE. LTD., a company incorporated in Singapore on 23 September 2026 under UEN 202644063W, with its registered address in Singapore ("MandarinOS", "we", "us" or "our").
By creating an account, enrolling in a course, purchasing a product or buying a lesson pack, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to purchase the Services. By using the Services you represent that the information you provide is accurate, current and complete.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us promptly at [email protected] if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account.
4.1 Self-paced courses are sold either as a complete book or as individual units. Access to purchased self-paced content is granted for the lifetime of the course on our platform, subject to these Terms.
4.2 Private 1-on-1 lessons are sold either as a single lesson or as a prepaid lesson pack of 10 or 20 lessons. A lesson pack is a block of prepaid lesson time, not a subscription: it does not renew automatically and no further payment is taken when the lessons run out. Each booking is made against the lessons remaining in your balance.
4.3 Live group classes are sold per term or per course round. Access to a purchased term runs for the dates published on the Site. Neither lesson packs nor class terms renew automatically. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
4.4 Live classes and private lessons are subject to scheduling availability and to the booking rules published on the Site. Missed sessions are not refundable unless required by law or stated otherwise in our Refund Policy.
5.1 All prices are stated in Singapore dollars (SGD) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
5.2 Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider, Stripe. By completing a purchase you authorise us and Stripe to charge your selected payment method. We do not store your full card details on our servers.
5.3 You will be charged immediately upon completing a purchase. We sell no recurring subscriptions: every product is a one-off payment, and no further charge is made unless you choose to buy again.
5.4 If a payment fails, we may suspend or terminate access to the affected Services until payment is successfully completed.
6.1 We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access and use the Services for your own learning purposes.

6.3 All course content, videos, text, graphics, logos and materials on the Site are owned by or licensed to MandarinOS and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. No rights are granted to you other than as expressly set out in these Terms.
Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
7.1 Self-paced courses and digital products may be refunded within 7 days of purchase, provided the course or unit has not been substantially accessed. Viewing more than 25% of the video content of a course or unit counts as substantial access.
7.2 Private lesson packs are prepaid blocks of lesson time, not subscriptions. A pack is refunded in full if you ask within 7 days of purchase and have taken no lesson from it. Where lessons have already been taken, we refund the total amount paid less SGD 150 for each lesson used. Once 30% or more of the lessons in a pack have been taken, the remaining balance is not refundable, but you may ask us to extend the lessons or transfer them to another learner.
7.3 Live group classes are sold per term or per course round. Once a term has started, fees are not refundable except where a lesson is not delivered as described in section 5.
7.4 We sell no subscriptions: every product is a one-off payment and nothing renews automatically. To request a refund, email [email protected] with your account email, the date of purchase, the product concerned and the reason for your request. Reviews are completed within 7 business days, and approved refunds are returned to the original payment method.
8.1 We aim to keep the Services available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may suspend, modify or discontinue any part of the Services, including individual courses or lessons, at our discretion.
8.2 We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified on the Site or by email. Continued use of the Services after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
9.1 The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we take care to produce accurate and high-quality teaching material, we do not warrant that any particular learning outcome, examination result or level of proficiency will be achieved.
9.2 To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with the Services is limited to the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
9.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Singapore law, including under the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act.
10.1 We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you materially breach these Terms, including the acceptable use rules in section 6. You may stop using the Services at any time.
10.2 Our handling of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
10.3 These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Services is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
